  1. I like to cut corners where ever I can. In the morning, I use water and my konjac sponge, eye gel and moisturizer. In the evening, I often use the Body Shop’s chamomile cleansing oil + water and finish up with my konjac sponge. I apply a moisturizer and my eye gel and that’s it. I’ve recently gotten into masks and I’ve started to use them 2-3 times a week, depending on the mask. I believe that if your skin looks good, feels good and is doing well, -don’t- “overcare” for it! Less is more, I think. I have used a serum before, but honestly, I feel that the magical sponge does so much for me right now that I don’t really need all that much πŸ™‚ Perhaps in the winter… One thing I -always- do for my skin and -always- have, is that I clean up my face every single night, regardless of how tired I am. I always do it. I also always clean my face in the morning.

  2. Liz Earl cleanse and polish hot cloth cleanser is my new love affair! it makes your face feel so clean and fresh! love it! also anything from Elemis or Decleor is normally a hit for me! xo

  3. I don’t really have a routine. I don’t like washing my face or putting on lotion, so it takes a conscious effort to do something consistently. I just like to do what I am up to, and if I have a problem, I’ll address it specifically. Not recommended, I know πŸ˜› As a fall-back I always use Mary Kay. A family member and I went to one of the parties a long time ago, and we bought one set of the teens skin-care, Velocity. I used it for years – it lasted so long! So when they became a consultant, I started using it and some other products. Now that I have everything Mary Kay available for me, I use a mixture depending on what is going on with my face. As I am trying to go more natural, though, I stick with a consistent washing (maybe every other, or every 2 days, unless my face is really bad) with MK Velocity, occasionally use my bar-soaps, and with my isolated oil probs I’ve used ClearProof (the new teen line)- and it works great!
Just so I’m not confusing… the breakdown:
Soap: Velocity, or bar – ZumBar/Kiss My Face (just bought this one)
Moisturizer: Velocity – the only one that doesn’t make my face too oily or too dry, or hurt my eyes!
Toner: occasionally – ClearProof, but it’s a bit too strong for me, (only use it when I’m really having a problem)
Acne gel: ClearProof – my fav product to spot-treat oil problems!

  4. I’m loving the fresh brand Black Tea Age-Delay Eye Concentrate. I’m consistent about cleansing and moisturizing, but besides the eye concentrate, I’m still looking for holy-grail items :0) Thanks for asking!

  5. I use a Clarisonic to wash my face with Philosophy Purity. Every so often I’ll use Kate Somerville Exfolikate afterwards….it is the absolute best face exfoliate. I religiously use Caudalie Premier Cru eye cream and Peter Thomas Roth Max Sheer All Day Defense Lotion. To take off eye makeup I use Neutrogena Oil Free eye makeup remover. If I had the $$$ I’d use the entire Caudalie line for everything. It’s gold for your face I swear.

  6. I use clean and clear exfoliant scrub then a toner and then I just use a moisturizing lotion. Works pretty well for me, I stay acne free for the most part. πŸ™‚

  7. I use Emma Hardie cleansing balm in the evening followed by Pixi glow tonic and La Roche Posay Serozinc. I then usually use an oil at the moment I am using the Clarins Lotus facial oil its lovely. In the morning I do the same but use the ESPA cleansing milk instead of the balm. For masks I love glamglow, Ren Glycolatic peel and Origins overnight moisture mask xxx

  8. I wash with raw and unfiltered honey in the AM, then do the Oil Cleansing Method at night! I always tone with Apple Cider Vinegar & Water, then moisturize (if needed) with avocado oil! Skin has NEVER felt or looked better!

  9. For my face wash I use Garnier Fructis Purifying Foam Cleanser for Combination Skin, for an exfoliate I use St. Ive’s Even & Bright Pink Lemon and Mandarin Orange Facial Scrub, sometimes here and there I use my Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. Great spa like stuff! :For a toner I just use Simple Soothing Facial Toner, and for a moisturizer I use St. Ive’s Timeless Collagen Elastin Moisturizer. Then for a face mask I like to use BIore’s Self Heating One Minute Mask with natural charcoal. My skin care routine is a bit eclectic lol. πŸ™‚

  10. At the moment I’m trying out LUSH Ultrabland, and am quite liking it since the main ingredient is almond oil and so good for my sensitive skin, then I use Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. I tried the Clinique 3 steps, but wasn’t too pleased with the results. Have you tried anything from the ‘B.’ range? Thought their Micellar Water look quite nice, and very reasonably priced too!

    • I can’t say I’ve tried anything from the ‘B’ range. I’ve used the Clinique Dramatically Different gel in the past and loved it.

      • Yeah, I love the moisturizer but wasn’t wowed by the cleanser or toner. My friend bought the whole skin care range and is loving it – guess I might have to invest too!

  11. My morning and night time skin care regimes differ greatly. I wear a lot if makeup, so I use Josie Maran’s Argan Oil Cleanser to wash away my “face”, for my eyes, I use any ol’ eye makeup remover. I rinse and rinse and rinse and then I use Clinique’s #4 toner around the sides of my face, forehead etc to get any makeup I may have missed. I finish with Olay Dark Spot Corrector on any, well, dark spots. In the morning, I use my clairsonic with Purpose wash for a quick cleansing and exfoliation. I have recently fell in love with Bliss’ Triple Oxygen “ex-glow-sion” moisturizer and I start with that before I pile the makeup on. Primer, foundation, blush, bronzer, eye shadows, liner, mascara and on occasion, false lashes. I need to start writing a “look of the day” post on Love & Eyeliner!

  12. I wash my face with Dove or Olay bar soap (depending on which I have onhand), tone with my Olay Oil Minimizing toner, put some Philosophy When Hope Is Not Enough under my eyes (to help minimize my fine lines/wrinkles in that area), moisturize with my Physician’s Formula moisturizer (but they don’t make the kind I use anymore so I may go back to Philosophy Hope In A Jar once I run out). Then primer, foundation…. you know the rest. πŸ˜‰

  13. I use apple cider vinegar as a toner and it totally dries up my pimples. Then I use a coconut water mix as another toner. To complete that I use a natural aloe Vera gel as my moisturizer. I use clinique’s exfoliate twice a week. And clinique’s acne face mask once a week.

      • Yeah:). I’m allergic to a lot of acne medications and I have really sensitive skin so natural things work best on me. Plus nature is always going to be there, while creams and medications are always changing. And it’s cheaper πŸ˜‰

  14. I love learning about different skin care routines as I think it’s something a lot of people don’t even have but is so important!!!
    Mine goes:

    Night time:
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water (removes the heavier makeup ready before cleansing with water)
Garnier Anti-Shine Cleansing Gel (every day)
Garnier Radiance Boosting Scrub (every other day so not too harsh on skin)
    Neutrogena alcohol free toner
Indio multi-v serum (putting vitamins into your skin)
    Johnsons rehydrating night cream

    Day time:
    Garnier Anti-Shine Cleansing Gel
Nivea light moisturising day cream SPF30

Plus 2-3 times a week I either use a clay based mask or a gel mask depending on what my skins calling for πŸ™‚

  15. In the morning I don’t wash my face (I’m way too lazy & always running late) so I just use Witch Hazel on a cotton pad to cleanse it a little bit, then my First Aid Beauty moisturizer, and Mary Kay eye cream and I’m good to go. At night, I take my makeup off with makeup wipes, use the Witch Hazel, First Aid Beauty moisturizer, Mary Kay eye cream, and the Tarte maracuja oil. A few times a week I will use a mask or use my Clarisonic to really get my face washed from the week. πŸ™‚

  18. I exfoliate my face In the shower then when I get out I use coconut oil as my moisturiser! It’s so brilliant- it’s antibacterial so it fights spots and moisturises at the same time leaving my face super soft and smooth! As well as this it’s 100% natural !
