Hello there, how did you find me? Did I pop up when you googled a product on your wishlist? Or maybe I liked your cupcake recipe on WordPress. However you found me, I’m glad you’re here. Now a little about me.

I’m Vanessa, creator of Say Hello To Gorgeous, but you can call me V. I’ve been a fan of makeup from before I was even allowed to wear it. This blog is meant to connect with my fellow beauty lovers. Here I will be sharing updates about product launches, as well as writing about my own experiences with beauty products. I believe that makeup should be fun and so you won’t see a lot of posts about what not to do or belittling any style. Feel free to comment and share!

About Cruelty-Free

It’s surprisingly tough out there to find products that aren’t tested on animals. That’s why as of March 1, 2014, I am adding a cruelty-free category to my blog. This is a personal choice and I respect each of my readers’ decisions. If you would like to find out more about animal testing, please check out this HSUS page.

Please note that I no longer will be purchasing items tested on animals, and that any products featured that test on animals are products I purchased before this decision or are samples. I will be sure to note when a product is tested on animals.

  12. I have to ask. How do you get your topics to post little snippets of your reviews and such? I’ve been trying to figure that out on my blog. Could you help a girl out and explain this? Is it more money and that’s why I cannot seem to get it to work? Your response is greatly appreciated.

    • Hey Selena. It’s all about what theme you chose for your blog. I have the Sight theme, which does that automatically and for free. I’m not sure if there is a manual way to do this though. Good luck!

  16. Hi V! I’m not big on makeup, but I love your decision to use cruelty-free products! My wife and I always choose verified cruelty-free products, it goes hand in hand with our vegan lifestyle and love of animals. If you haven’t heard of the Leaping Bunny program, check out http://www.leapingbunny.org/ – they have a smartphone app that makes it easy to check if a product is cruelty-free or not on the go.
